Provides vocational training within the health and technology professions
and offers career advancement through many other services. Must
be low income to qualify.

Rehabilitation:

This program provides vocational counseling, skills evaluation,
job training, and job placement. The program is available to anyone
with a physical or mental disability that poses as a barrier to
employment.

The college offers a variety of vocational programs, ESL classes,
and GED assistance. Must be 18 years of age or over or currently
enrolled in high school.
Community Vocational Enterprises (CVE):

Program offers clerical training and transitional employment in
food service, janitorial, and clerical positions to people with
psychiatric disabilities.
Conard House, Inc.:

The program provides career counseling, vocational plan development,
and referrals to schools, training programs, and volunteer work.
Must be a San Francisco resident with a mental health diagnosis,
and have a referral from a mental health service provider.
Ella Hill Hutch Community Center:

The center offers construction apprenticeship and GED preparation
assistance. Various eligibility requirements for different programs.
Family Restoration House:

Program provides employment and training services, a job readiness
program, parenting workshops and classes, support groups, legal
services, child support assistance, and youth services. Available
to non-traditional families, primarily non-custodial fathers (including
never-married, teen, and delinquent fathers).

Program offers a vocational program that includes training courses
in word processing, computers, and retail sales. Program is open
to clients who have a physical or other type of disability or who
suffer from socio-economic barriers.
La Cocina:

La Cocina assists food entrepreneurs by providing commercial kitchen
use, training, and technical assistance in order to launch or expand
a food business. Low-income immigrant and women of color are prioritized.

Center offers a wide range of services, including vocational programs
such as HIRE-UP, WIRE UP, and Day Labor as well as GED preparation
for youth 12 to 24.
Mission Language and Vocational School,

Provides vocational training, employment services and English as
a Second Language for Latinos, other immigrants and low-income adults.
San Francisco Regional Occupational Center:

Center provides job training classes in banking, finance, computer-based
office skills, computer repair, cosmetology, financial sales/service
employment training, and computer graphics. Must be 16 years of
age and high school junior or older to qualify. Some classes require
typing skills.
